Material reference
Identify the approved swatch and any required performance evidence. Agree how colour, handfeel and appearance will be compared; request reports for the actual material when your purchasing requirements call for them.
Fit and construction record
Check garment balance, measurement points, seams, closures and trims against the agreed sample. Put specific acceptance criteria in writing rather than treating a concept photograph as proof of construction quality.
Packing and inspection notes
Confirm label content, folding, unit packing and carton information. Keep the inspection record tied to the actual order and specification, with unresolved issues recorded for follow-up.
